Nomoo Cookie Company is expanding the dessert options for kosher eaters with 10 cookie varieties, each made on 100 percent dairy-free equipment, certified kosher parve, with locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, and preservative-free.
Nomoo Cookie Company started with David Bader, Nomoo President, and Gretchen Dossa, General Manager. Both have loved ones with dietary restrictions, and they shared a frustration with constantly struggling to find high-quality kosher or dairy-free products.
I’ve always loved to create, and that love extends to baking,” explains Bader. “When I was looking for my nextopportunity, I wanted to build something meaningful, a company to be a legacy for my children.”
Bader approached Dossa with an idea for a dairy-free kosher parve cookie company. Their belief that everyone loves cookies, combined with their friends and family members’ dietary needs inspired them to create a cookie that they all could enjoy.
“We aren't just trying to fill a gap in the marketplace; we are making something special for our friends and families,” says Dossa. “The fact that I, and other mothers with kosher or dairy-free families, can buy these and be confident they are safe, wholesome, and delicious is one of the things making Nomoo special.”
Nomoo Cookie Company uses the same high quality natural ingredients preferred by home cooks, including Earth Balance shortening and King Arthur flour. Like homemade cookies, Nomoo Cookies are preservative-free. They are available in packs of 12 for $19.95 online at nomoocookies.com. Gift boxes and an auto-ordering subscription service are also available. Kosherfest attendees can sample Nomoo Cookies at booth 249.
