“Made in the USA” cookie event coming to Buck’s County, July 2nd

Bucks County students and American military veterans will show their patriotism next Wednesday when they come together for one of our country’s favorite pastimes – baking cookies – at Nomoo Cookie Company in Pipersville.

“Nomoo celebrates American freedom and those who have fought to preserve it,” said Nomoo founder, David Bader. “We’re bringing kids together with military vets to celebrate the 4th of July with freshly made cookies. We’re excited to connect these different generations around the spirit of patriotism.”

Students from River Valley Waldorf School (Upper Black Eddy) and veterans from American Legion Post 950 (Riegelsville) will bake in the Nomoo Cookie Company kitchens, Wednesday, July 2nd from 1 – 3 p.m. Cookies will be donated to the American Legion Post.

This event joins Nomoo's growing roster of community involvement, which includes providing volunteer time and cookies to the United Way of Buck’s County, Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, the ARC of Mercer County and Lambertville, NJ Food Pantry.
